I went to Warped Tour at the Woodlands in Houston Texas. It was the first time I saw my favorite band...Rancid...and they did an unbelievable show! I was blown away by everything. It was so fun and up beat. They played great songs like Radio and The Ballad of Jimmy and Johnny. There ws a huge circle pit, which I couldn't go in because I couldn't find it and I could prob. get my ass kicked. I wish they played Junkie Man and/or I Wanna Riot, but nevertheless it was fantastic! I wanna see them again so bad. After Rancid I saw the Distillers...which was a kickass show. There was a HUGE circle pit that I was just about in. Casper was spitting everywhere and she got a huge loogy right on my left collar bone. I was sooo happy! haha call me crazy but it was bad ass. My sister was with me and she spit back at casper and then casper spit on her right in the cheek it was great!! and after the show casper came up to us and was like "hey your the one who spit on me!" and she was really fuckin nice. And we talked to Brody and Andy also. We didn't get to talk to Ryan though... Then Casper invited us to a BBQ with the bands and we got to meet AFI, The Business, Nerve Agents, Lars, lots of people. It was awesome. Before Rancid and Distillers I saw AFI. They did an awesome show! I saw them back in November with the Distillers also and their setlist this time was better. They were great! Davey even sand the Midnight Sun song with the wispering which was great. They are really nice. Don't ever let anyone tell you Davey Havok is stuck up cos he is NOT stuck up. He is one of the nicest people I have met at a show. Even though Warped Tour was at the Woodlands it was an awesome time. The Casualties were kickass. They played Punks and Skins and City Life and Ugly Bastards (great songs). The Business was also great! They played Takers and Users and Drinking and Driving. Good Charlotte sucked ass. They have always sucked so I didn't expect them to be good. Ok well thats all I have about Warped 2001. November 2000 A.F.I and Distillers An June 2001 Vice Squad This was an awesome show. AFI was great! They were really energetic and nice. The Distillers were also awesome. Great pit for both of the bands. During the AFI show Brody jumped in and went crowd surfing and then got back out. And then Casper jumped in and went in the pit and she came right behind me and put her hand on my shoulder and we were all screaming "Through Out Bleeding We Are One" for AFI. and she was using her elbow and she hit me in the head..hehe...it was all good. I was so happy. Anyways we got to meet all of AFI and all of the Distillers. Andy and Dante were really nice, so was Casper and Brody. Casper gave us a big jug of water becuase we were so hot. I got Davey Havok's autograph and pics with Hunter Adam and Jade. It was awesome...I didn't wanna leave. The Vice Squad show back in June was like a dream, even though there was a bad side. Ok well see...there was a huge tropical storm that night that Vice Squad played. Vice Squad is from england we weren't gonna miss this show. So we were like fuck it lets go. We drove all the way to the club and we saw Vice Squad at like 11:30 since they were late...so then after Vice Squad we were like Hey great show guys we are gonna try to leave. We run to our car and try to get out....we go down the street 14 feet of water. We go the other way 3 feet of water. The other way 4 feet. The other way 2 feet. We were fucked...up the ass. So we went back to the club soaking wet freezing cold. They lock us in the club til 4 in the morning with a bar, dirty punks and skins, barf in the sink of the bathroom, no toilette paper and Vice Squad. We talked to them (mostly Paul) and we got like 5 kisses from them. Beki is sooo nice and ecspecially Paul and so is the bassist. Then there were 2 fights and we said bye to Vice Squad cos we got kicked out and so then we were stuck downtown until 6:00 pm the next day cos it was totally flooded. Ok long story, I know. | |
